- How Does it Work?
- Your platelets are collected by drawing a small amount of blood from your arm. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge and spun at high speed to separate the plasma and prepare it for treatment. The PRP contains many growth factors that help to enhance the natural healing process and production of collagen in your skin.
The PRP is then injected into the skin via microneedling. Microneedling involves the use of twelve tiny sterile needles to make micro-injections in the skin, causing the skin to start its natural repair process. The channels created by the microneedling serve as direct pathways to deep layers of the skin to resolve problems there as well.
